As a full time artist, Don Grant takes pride in the "used" look of his wagons and stagecoaches. He started his art career in 1980. Don has no formal art training, but has taken workshops along the way. His original works are created in hardwoods, polymer clay and wax.
Known for stage coaches and wagons that are sculptured out of wood, Don has expanded into the medium of bronze. With the added skills he has learned through workshops in sculpting and painting, he now hand paints some of his bronzes. Many are put into a natural setting.
Visit Don and view his new works in room 150 at the Best Western Heritage Inn during the Out West Art Show and Sale, March 18 thru 21, 2015.
