Enjoying the beauty of the West through the artist's eyes is a privilege we should not pass up. This is her challenge.... to have the viewer "’feel" and appreciate the beauty of nature.
Marcia grew up in Montana and was always sketching the landscape around her. Marcia is a traditional painter working in pastels, oils, watercolors and acrylics. Her subject matter includes landscapes, florals, seascapes, still-life and wildlife.
Marcia has exhibited at the Heritage Inn since 1987 and she has participated in the C.M. Russell Auction and Quick Draw. She is a member of the Montana Painters Alliance and the Montana Professional Artists Association.
Marcia has been fortunate to have studied with some of the west's outstanding artists, including Joe Abbrescia, Irving Shapiro, Marc Hansen, Matt Smith, Josh Clare, M.L. Coleman, Quang Ho, Larry Pirnie, Roger Dale Brown, Michael Godfrey, Delbert Gish, John Seerey-Lester, Mario Cooper and others.
