Bozeman, Montana sculptor, Ott Jones, nationally recognized for his wildlife and sporting bronzes has been a full-time professional for nearly 30 years. His thoroughly researched sculptures are known for their solid compositions and pleasing designs. With a strong understanding of anatomy complemented by striking textures and patinas, Ott’s work honestly reflects his fascination for his subjects and passion for the great outdoors.
Ott has participated in shows and events including Allied Artists of America, C. M. Russell Museum, National Museum of Wildlife Art, National Sculpture Society, Society of Animal Artists National Museum Tour, Southeastern Wildlife Exposition and Waterfowl Festival. He has placed 45 life-size and monumental sculptures throughout the country and was recently honored in having Queen Elizabeth acquire his sculpture, Birth of the Labrador. Ott, his wife, Joan, and their four children live in the Gallatin Valley near Bozeman.
